The title "Grey Matter" draws inspiration from the television show Breaking Bad, where the characters Walt and Elliot establish a scientific research company called Grey Matter. The choice of this title reflects the scientific nature of my animation, which incorporates elements that are not real, taking shape and being discovered. The concept behind the animation was to create a visual representation of the imaginative formation of compounds and molecules, artistically culminating in the crystallization process on a specimen with an otherworldly origin.

This project imagines compounds forming and crystallizing into life; blending curiosity, experimentation, and weird science in my playful, ever-evolving design approach.
